We wish Donna the best of luck starting her new position as the Bruce Stone Fellow in Chemical Biology at the La Trobe Institute for Molecular Science! She'll be based up at Bendigo and running her lab in no time. She is very excited about all the possibilities an independent position engenders but will no doubt be back down to Monash to collaborate and co-supervise the many great projects we already have going. Having been up to Bendigo to prepare for her new job, Donna was particularly impressed with her new (still sparsely decorated) office and has also managed to find herself the kind of picturesque little old miner's cottage to live in - exactly the kind of thing that doesn't exist anywhere in New York or Melbourne.

We can't wait for her to start putting together a new single molecule microscope so we have an excuse to go up and visit her!

Donna's new (old) cottage, the view from her front porch, and her new office at La Trobe.
